Who We Are

Christina Theophilos, MEd

Founder of The Glory of Education

Christina Theophilos M.Ed. teaches Crisis Intervention and Helping Relations in Education to teachers at the University of Sherbrooke. She is an expert speaker on issues such as bullying prevention, classroom management, sex education and mental health. She holds a Master's degree from McGill University in the Educational and Counselling Psychology department. Since the age of 22, she has worked globally with students and educators promoting her transformational teaching strategies. In 2009, she travelled across Canada inspiring educators and health care professionals on the various ways to teach sexual health. In 2011, Christina relocated to South Korea where the rates of suicide have skyrocketed, and for 7 years, she focused her attention on preventing suicide, bullying, and discrimination.

Upon her return to Canada, she continued to build her organization, The Glory of Education, which provides schools and corporations with Compassionate Training. As a result of her commitment, Christina met and gained first-hand training from the renowned anti-discrimination educator, Mrs. Jane Elliott, who conducted the internationally renowned "Blue-Eyed Brown-Eyed Exercise". From these in-depth interviews she produced a manual called "Beneath The Surface: Uncovering the Secrets to Jane Elliott's Teachings," helping teachers effectively manage bullying and discrimination in schools.

Christina is also a certified yoga therapist and meditation instructor, which she believes is the foundation to having a greater sense of appreciation and acceptance for oneself and others. Today she has expanded her organization and partnered with a wonderful team who has the desire to support families, schools and businesses. Her goal is to share pratictical tools and learning exercises on how to build healthy relationships, gain empathy, relieve stress and live in gratitude!
