A Note To Educators, From The Glory of Education
To the chosen ones, those who choose to teach, who believe in the glory of education and have the heart to make a greater impact in the lives of youth. We thank you.
The classroom can be a wonderful place of growth, unity, and healing. It is our choice as educators to create this sacred space for our students. I know it's difficult, but you can affect their lives forever. You are their guardians, mentors, and teachers for life. The way you look at them, is how they will see themselves. The way you encourage them, is how they will learn confidence. The way you comfort them, is how they will help others. The way you teach them, will determine whether or not they have understood some of the most valuable life lessons.
Let us challenge their minds and give them strength. Let us teach them skills to fight with confidence when the time is right. Let us teach them understanding and empathy, and bring meaningful relationships into their lives. Let us bring joy and healing into the classroom that will carry them throughout their days, and leave with an armour of self-love, brilliance and leadership.
I thank and honour all educators and pray that these tools and words will move you. Let us be the teachers we always dreamt of becoming. Let us bring light, love and understanding in times of darkness and confusion. Together, let us reach the innocent minds of our children. Protect them, guide them and be true educators.
Do not miss out on teachable moments and loving opportunities. We only have one life, once chance and one glory of education.
